Using a cleric as an NPC that can be replaced so Nysene would be a good addition so I can remove him.

And add a small background to your character. No need for a novel but something to know her personality.

Sure, back when I started, most of the games I found on here were on external sites (Roll20, Skype, etc.) so the only posts I really needed to make were on initial games. This'd be my first PbP on The Tangled Web, though I've done it on other forums.

I should already have traits on there, but I'll go ahead and level to 2. Will share the rolls here in a few minutes.

Personality
Nysene is young, sentimental, and zealous in her beliefs. She is a firm believer in doing the right thing for her community first and foremost and often has a hard time dealing with the more...transaction-oriented types. For hard time, read absolute disgust and righteous indignation. She has mostly made a living working as a medic aboard fishing and merchant ships. Her warmth and sincerity has made it so she has established a number of contacts throughout the area. While she is sentimental, she is by no means naive and if she is unable to appeal to someone's better nature the first time, she won't waste time on those who she believes threaten lives simply to advance their own interests.


Background
Nysene has been out at sea for the past few months. When she made port again at Greyford, she found that the captain's children had gone missing. Naturally, she sprang into action to help locate them. That's when she found out about the epidemic of missing children. The posters, the disappearances, the families weeping, caught between hope and horror in the mystery of it all. Since that time, she has been working to chase down leads. Frustrated with the lack of progress, she is intrigued when her friend, a local guardsman, tells her about a sudden influx of travelers and a recent tense encounter.
