You don't actually have to pick a deity, as long as the GM is okay with it, you can pick some theme or another to represent your faith and select appropriate domains.
While the vast majority of clerics revere a specific deity, a small number dedicate themselves to a divine concept worthy of devotion—such as battle, death, justice, or knowledge—free of a deific abstraction. (Work with your GM if you prefer this path to selecting a specific deity.)

Here is a sheet link for you: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
I have a few short backstory elements on the sheet itself, down near the bottom of the page. There's a much longer one already written, but I think the short questions on the sheet can cover the gist of it.

You can play what you want. Healing can be covered with Potion's and wands of healing. The most important note is that you will enjoy playing it.

Deity you usally think what alignment you gonna be and then look for a good that fits the bill. Then go with one that Sounds like something your character would follow.
But as faeryl says so you dont have to pick one and be godless.

What I see att the moment the group would need a more dex class. Like rogue, ranger ect. So hopefully someone joins who fits the bill.
I think I will let Recruitment set for 2 weeks mark and play with what we have, hopefully someone will join in afterwards
Until then you can change how many times you like.

Since Emilie has the Craft:Armor skill, could she have spent time before the start of the game creating her own armor? This is much cheaper than buying a new set, and would allow her to afford heavy armor right out of the gate. I can understand not wanting to go that route, in which case she'll simply save up money and attempt to craft some heavy armor later on.

For a rather extreme example: a set of full plate is Craft DC 19 [reasonable with a +7 modifier] and would cost 4,950 silver pieces {The Craft Skill has you price the items in sp, then pay 1/3 of that price in raw materials}. Semi-related, Emilie gains a +1 bonus to Craft from both her Spark of Creation trait and her Heart of the Fields racial trait. I just forgot that SoC gave a bonus to craft in addition to the 5% cost reduction in magic item creation.

Wizard and Witch can't wear armor, unfortunately. Unless they specifically want some armor with no ASF (arcane spell failure). There are a couple of those available that I could make practically for free, but the Mage Armor spell would be much better at overall protection. In the end though, it works out that most armor that's better than what I bought is still too expensive for my budget of 50 gp. So I'll just get some money back by crafting my own scale mail. This reduces the cost to 16.5 gp. Can't quite afford to masterwork it within the budget, but that's fine. Ended up buying some artisan's tools for the future crafting I'll do and saved the remainder.
If the other PCs want armor made, I can do so, but I'd like them to provide the coin for it since it's their equipment.

I looked over the background skills.
I put my two selections (Knowledge (Nobility) and Craft (etchings and paintings of Heraldry) in the text box with Traits
The interest in Nobility is about his heritage. He didn't really know his father very well and had no knowledge of his mother. The etchings and paintings of heraldry grew as an offshoot to his interest in nobles.

I sent gremling a message, hopefully he will reply soon.

Tanaeryn’s life began as a footnote in a diplomatic ledger. Born of a forbidden liaison between Lord Valerius Thorne, a high-ranking diplomat of the human Kingdom of Oakhaven, and an unnamed elven woman from the distant spires of Iadara, Tanaeryn was a living complication. To preserve his reputation, Valerius tucked the boy away in the capital city of Aethelgard, placing him in the care of Liana, a young serving girl whose kindness was the only warmth Tanaeryn knew.
                              The Mountain Sanctuary
When Tanaeryn turned thirteen, the "complication" grew too visible. Lord Valerius dispatched Tanaeryn and Liana to the Shatterpeak Mountains, specifically to the Greyreach Tower. The tower was a jagged stone needle originally built by the late Baron Halloway, a minor noble with more ambition than sense. Upon the Baron's mysterious passing, the tower fell into the hands of his resident mage, the stern and pragmatic Master Vorlam.
Life at Greyreach was a cycle of isolation. Liana, once a vibrant city girl, found the mountain silence suffocating. To keep her mind occupied, she took on the roles of cook, laundress, and housekeeper for Vorlam and his two older apprentices.
Tanaeryn, meanwhile, lived in the converted stone guard’s quarters on the first floor. He split his days between the dirt and the ink:
                              • The Farm: Tending the vegetable patch and the coop alongside the two human apprentices.
                              • The Tower: Scrubbing the floors of the twin alchemy labs, the echoing classroom, and the dust-choked library
The apprentices—both bastards of Oakhaven nobility like himself—gave him his first sense of identity. Garrick, the eldest from the port city of Venza, called him "Tan." Kaelen, a quiet boy from the northern plains of Oakhaven, shortened it to "Aeryn." Eventually, Master Vorlam adopted "Aeryn" as well, recognizing the boy's sharp mind by promoting him to library duty while the others handled the heavier cleaning.

                              The Two Masters
After Garrick completed his trials and departed, Aeryn’s formal education began in earnest. For three years, he balanced his chores with the arcane arts. When Kaelen finally left two years later, Vorlam’s interest in teaching seemed to wither. Six months into Aeryn's solo tutelage, Vorlam handed him a sealed letter and a directive: find Kepstonian Longfinger in the bustling trade-hub of Oakhaven’s Reach.
Liana accompanied him, her eyes gleaming with a newfound, sharp focus.
Kepstonian was a gnome of eccentric habits—a wizard by trade but a scoundrel by instinct. Under the gnome’s tutelage, Aeryn’s magical progression was frequently stalled by lessons in the "mechanical arts."
"A fireball is loud, Aeryn," Kepstonian would squeak, "but a clicked tumbler is silent. Learn to use both, or you won't live long enough to grow a beard."
                              The Bitter Harvest
After three years, Aeryn had outpaced the gnome's limited arcane knowledge. Ready to strike out on his own, Aeryn offered to escort Liana to a southern port so she could finally return to her elven kin. To his shock, she refused. She claimed she had grown fond of Kepstonian and the comforts of his estate.
Aeryn departed with a heavy heart, unaware of the rot beneath the floorboards. Liana, weary of a lifetime of servitude to human "lords," had been systematically poisoning both Master Vorlam and Kepstonian with subtle, magical toxins. She had already dispatched messengers to her contacts in the Kyonin borderlands, preparing to seize the towers and estates as a foothold for her own ends.

Tanaeryn—now a man of two worlds and two disciplines—walks away from his past with a spellbook in his satchel and a set of thieves' tools in his belt,

I've thought that since Tanaeryn's training is incomplete and he should start with a chance of spell failure. A goal he must work towards overcoming his incomplete training in the magical arts.

Looking at Aeryn's sheet, it looks like you forgot to put in the base saves for your class, which would be 0/0/2, naturally. You also didn't put in a Base Attack, but since wizards start with +0 in that, it's not as important. You also should have all your weapons deal -1 damage for your neg Str mod. Not sure why your dagger would deal 1d3 or 1d4, unless you purchased separately sized ones for some reason ( like easier concealment, maybe?). Apologies if the sheet wasn't fully finished yet and you were still getting to those. Just trying to help.
