The lack of active players is hurting. Wouldn't mind 1 more and make 1 needed NPC until it can be replaced. But 2 might not be fun for you.
You can still have the option open.

Oh and i forgot to reply one of your questions. Faegin
Yes you are correct, you can pick one of those three.
    But don't forget this part
"The Spell Level Rule: The extra spell must be at least one level lower than the highest level you can cast"

I passed out the link to some other folks I play with, but no guarantees of anything except an extra view or three.
      Active Character(s):

Hi there, I'm new to this site, not found it before, but Faeryl_ posted it on a Discord, so I thought I'd come take a look...
I've played TTRPGs from the days of Chainmail til now, spanning some 4, nearly 5 decades, and a lot on the Mythweavers PBP site.
I've played hundreds of different systems in that time, PF1e is one I like!

So, how do I write an application on this site? Do we have threads?

I believe you can write your application here.
I'm glad Faeryl sent you this way. The beginning of this thread has the info about the game.
I'm Scott by the way. Like you, I played chainmail in the day, but the group I gamed with found Dungeons and Dragons in 1978 with the Blue Dragon on cover.

Welcome to the site! Like Faegin Said all the information you need is in the first post, if you have any questions just ask and I will try to answer

How verbose do you want the application to be?
image, description, background, link to character sheets?

image, description, background, link to character sheets? : Yes. but image is not a requirement but it's always nice to get a general look on the character.
I don't need a novel about your character. But I like to know who your character is. And usually, the more work you put into a character the more you enjoy it.

And as a side note. I do enjoy RP - and it will be rewarded in one way or another when you play character. For an example, an extra + to your roll or a lower DC.

Then I have a question for you, as the system here allows you to roll on the site

Do you want a open combat rolls from me or hidden?
                  Attack roll (1d20+6) [13] + 6 = 19 vs Someone

                    Name
                    : Elira Ashcombe
                    Race: Human
                    Sex: Female
                    Class: Witch
                    Character sheet: TBD

                    Personality
Elira is quiet in the way of people who listen more than they speak. She watches hands, not faces. She notices who stands near children, who avoids the firelight, who breathes too easily when the smell of sulfur drifts on the wind.
She is not cruel and not kind by instinct. She is careful.

Elira believes luck is not a gift but a thing that must be guarded. When she speaks magic, it is never loud. Never dramatic. A whisper, a laugh under her breath, a soft sound that bends fate just enough to matter.
She dislikes promises. She keeps them anyway.

                    Background
Elira grew up on the edges of trade routes, in a village too small to matter and too close to the road to be safe. Her mother read fortunes for travellers. Her father brewed lamp oil and incense. People came and went. Children learned early not to wander.
Her younger sister, Mara, was clever and curious and never afraid of the dark. When the air first began to smell wrong, Mara was the one who noticed. She said it smelled like burned coins. Like old smoke.

Mara vanished three months ago. There was no struggle. No blood. Just an empty bed and sulfur clinging to the walls as if it had soaked into the stone itself.
The village elders spoke of bandits. Of slavers. Of bad luck. Elira did not believe them.

She took her mother’s charms, her own half-learned magic, and left the village with a knife, a pack, and a certainty that whatever was taking children did not belong to this world.
When she heard of a merchant hiring guards for the road, she took the job without haggling. Roads lead somewhere. Someone always pays attention to the road.
If the trail of sulfur leads anywhere, she intends to follow it.

(something like that, but can't see how to format posts well)

You can't really do fancy formatting on this site I don't think. At least, I've never seen any. Now I'm definitely not going to make that gravewalker witch. We've already got two casters and really need a frontliner. I'll throw it together officially soon-ish, although I don't really like the TTW sheets much. Too used to the automated google sheet I found ages ago.

Okay, a few questions while I put this together:
                        • Max HP at 1st level is assumed, but what about future levels? Always max? Take average? Roll for it? Roll for it but you may take Average if you roll lower?
                        • Are we using Background Skills? (Link provided)
                        • How about Elephant in the Room (aka "feat taxes begone")? [This one is a pdf file which I have attached.]
                        • Can we select Traits?
                        • What about the Combat Stamina feat/Optional Rule?
Sorry for dumping all this on you. If you want just plain vanilla gaming, we/I can absolutely work with that. I just want to get the asking out of the way.

                          * I'm fine to max hp at 1 and IF we don't find more players to Max the hp each lvl. If we do - Roll for it but you may take Average if you roll lower.
                          * I'll take a look threw out the day and make my pick after that.
                          * I'll take a look threw out the day and make my pick after that. Any thing special you are looking at?
                          * I'll allow 1 trait. 2. if you also pick a draw back - This is accounted for all players.
*As you are kind enough to pick a class to help the group - I'll allow the Combat sta and allow the *Free for Fighters*

                            • Re: EitR; the main thing I see myself using is the free Power Attack. Instead of a feat, it's now just an option for any player with at least BaB +1. Although EitR calls it "Risky Strike" and it also accounts for things like Deadly Aim and fighting defensively.
                            • I'll pick up two traits with that drawback then.
                            • I've got more than enough skill points to get the few things I want, but more skills is always helpful.
                            • I will gladly accept the free combat stamina. Thanks!
I'll finish the sheet up and post everything tomorrow.

                              • I think we pass it for this Campaign.
                              • Great, just make sure you also play with the draw back. If your afraid of the Dark you should act like you are afraid of the Dark. Everyone is allowed the 1 trait or 2 traits / 1 drawback. Will apply it to the first post
                              • I think I will allow the background feature. Will apply it to the first post.
So 2 question I like everyone to think about.
                              • do you want hidden combat rolls from enemies or open?
                              • Do you want to have a healer NPC with you or more gold to cover the healing problem if no more people apply?

I'm willing to play a cleric, I was just overwhelmed by the large number of deities. I learn the rules by creating characters of different classes.
