I had to count, but you are actually at max range for healing word which is also a bonus action. So you can still draw your crossbow as a free action and then fire it as your action if you want. Just remember you have a -2 penalty for half cover.

Can I move 15 ft down the ramp to get a clear shot? Striaght south of it or are those rocks tall enough to obscure my view?

Talanta sends an arrow flying at the ankheg - well, at the air about three feet above the ankheg....

Karzac sprints for the ruins.... vague dwarvish mutterings about the enthusiasm of youth.... and told you so's ... are all thats heard over the clanking of the dwarf in his haste towards the battle.

    Authentic Forum Dice-rollDC 13 STR check to break grapple - (1d20+3) [22]

Tuff roars and throws her arms upward, knocking herself free of the surprised creature's grasp. Landing on her feet, she turns her back to the monster and attempts to run 1N/3NE/1N (30ft) if she isn't taken out by the monster's Opportunity Attack. She knows it's a risk but she feels like she has to take it.

Talentaís shot misses but Raymendís pierces the ankhegís thick exoskeleton. Karzac charges forward as Tuff escapes the grapple and retreats.

The ankheg thinks about chasing after the wounded half-orc, but it decides to take advantage of a different opportunity instead. It scuttles south towards the dwarf and halfling and lets loose a stream of acid spray from its maw.

OOC: Karzac and Raymend take Authentic Forum Dice-rollAcid Damage - (3d6) (3, 6, 1) [10] . On a successful DC 13 Dex Save, they take half damage instead. Everyone is up again.

Raymend seeing the acid spray coming at his and Karzac's face crouches down to barely avoid the worst of it. "Keep it busy and stay alive!" he gets out through gritted teeth before casting Healing word on Karzac

He then grunts and makes his way back up to his previous spot before casting Bane at the creature (DC 13 Cha)

    Karzac - AC19 - HP 11/12 - SW available.

A surprisingly deft side step means that Karzac avoids the bulk of the acid and the quick healing energy that follows causes a burst of dwarvish glee - in the form of a throaty chuckle - to burst forth from his lips.

He steps in and swings at the Ankheg with his mighty warhammer..... and is rewarded with a truly satisfying crunch as the hammer head breaks into a portion of the bugs carapace.

When Tuff reaches the space she was aiming for and finally looks back to check on the monster, she's upset to learn that it did not give chase. Placing the palms of her hands on the top of her head, she allows the energy from within herself to channel into her hands and then flow onto her physical form, further repairing some more of the damage done to her by the ankheg's initial surprise attack. Then she bolts back in the other direction toward the creature.

Both Karzac and Raymend dodge the acid spray. Raymend quickly heals Karzac and retreats back up the ramp to the ridgeline to cast Vicious Mockery which the ankheg ignores. Karzac lands a mighty blow on the ankheg, cracking its carapace. Talenta adds to the creature's concerns as she buries an arrow from atop the ridge.

The ankheg rears back and then charges the dwarf.

Luckily, the dwarf's armor deflects the blow.
