    Default Slightly Cracked- PF 1e

For a long time, there was onlyblackness. You remember going to fight….something. You remember thepanicked screams of your friends and fellow adventurers. Youremember constant stabbing pain of something clamping down on you.Then...nothing. A slow warmth nowspreads across your body as something pierces through the blackness,as flakes of stone fall from your body as you awoke. But this world is very different from the one you knew. How will youadjust? What will you do?

Working on a Coldborn skinwalker monk named Roun Zelmiel.

    Background
Roun's Coldborn village was overrun at the beginning of the age of strife. Luckily his parents made it out, but they had no idea if anyone else did. They moved into a human village, where his dad's toughness and ferocity in battle earned them a place. They had a new place to live but not acceptance or a true home. Raised to be disciplined and tough, Roun skipped the former but not the latter. Instead he tried to have fun. If that fun lead to a fight, even better. Then a monk came to the village, bringing word that war was not far behind him. He urged the villagers to flee. Most understood there was little place else for them to go. So they prepared to fight. Roun's parents begged the holy man to take Roun with him when he left to warn the next village. And so Roun's life changed again. Instead of learning the ways of a ranger like his father or a druid like his mother, Roun was taught how to fight with his fists. The monk took him to a village high in the mountains. There he continued to train. At times he would venture down into the valley to find soldiers to fight, much to his master's ire. He learned to wear the funny dress of these harsh, strong mountain men. Then came the day he buried his master. The next morning he left the village. He went looking for a fight, a fight with the ones who burned his parents village when he was a boy.

Any general theme to this story, or is the mystery part of the game? (either is fine, just curious)

I believe my character is mostly finished, except for armor and equipment because I don't know what we're starting with.

    Beren Tabak's character sheet: https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=2278011

    Beren Tabak's backstory:

Edit: forgot to fill out personally and appearance, but I'll do those after work tomorrow.

Edit: Now I think everything is filled out!

So, working on a character, looking at the roles we don't have full... It looks like generally we need a rogue-type. So the question for you guys (more to help me make a decision on a direction than anything) is would you guys rather a melee-ish Sneak attack type, a ranged sort, or a diplomancer/rogue cross (maybe a mesmerist with trapfinding added in?)

Also, Lake, did you get that pm I sent? any thoughts?

    Follow your heart!!!

But seriously, any work so best to choose what you'll have fun with.

If it helps any Onik plans to stand between the assumed vanguard and backline with his reach weapon.

    No preference from here.
Just consider some, ah, fireproofing if you decide to frontline. No reason, or anything, nope.
