I only needed Rian's turn. Regardless of what you rolled, I would have erased it. In this case it's a natural 1. Had it been a natural 20, you'd have been less happy with this ruling, but today is your lucky day. I recommend playing the lottery .

I added a map to the partial turn.

    I changed H to raging.

Let me know if I missed something else or the map is not right.

When Rian makes a decision, I will finish the turn.

He can abjure enemy and attack normally. Real simple. No save necessary.

I think you mean vow of enmity, not abjure enemy.

Abjure enemy wouldn’t help here that I can see.

He has to see the creature to use vow of enmity. So he can’t avert eyes this round. He could in future rounds though to offset disadvantage.

Either way that is a bonus action. So no misty step.

Right vow of enmity. Tried to recall by memory.

So Rian has made his save.
He averts his eyes and attacks.
    Nothing really changes.
or do you want me to roll the attacks again.
If he has to roll his attacks can he do vow of enmity.

No, I'll process it in the morning. No need to reroll.

    I checked my tickets...

    I did not win.

It's coming down to the wire. Kal may be dead before he moves without healing.

I need a new map of her position to cast a spell.

I overwrote it. It sometimes takes a few minutes to register.

to remove oneself from grapple, I think you can also use your Dex against the dc of the grapple, instead of Str, but I may be wrong. The initial grapple I think can also be contested in this fashion, it's not automatic unless the creature has such an attack, like Moloch did.

Is this supposed to be stoneskin on the Queen, seems really powerful compared to the spell itself which is nowhere as powerful as the previous versions.

    You are correct:

You can break a grapple by wriggling (win a contest of Dexterity (Acrobatics) or by force (Strength (Athletics).

The challenge is that his HP are low enough that he may fall before contesting it. And now he has to save vs. stone...

Just a reminder that group luck dice are still unused.

This is a legendary medusa. I assure you, it's RAW.

    She's just really powerful.

Yeah she is. 5e stoneskin is nothing compared to 3.5 stoneskin--that one gave you damage reduction except against adamantine, plus the damage resistance. 5e is pretty lame in comparison.

After the encounter, I will link what you are up against. I don't want to do that now because the threat is still there.

Also, the halfling priest didn't act that you know of this round.

I take it the Queen did not use her last legendary save against the flame strike.

If she doesn't go down in the next round or so, we are all dead. Rocky can kill her, but he can't bring us back from being petrified. Vort has the spell, but he has no slots left to use it.
