Hi everyone! I stumbled on this community while looking for a way to play DnD asynchronously. I'm almost completely new to the hobby (played once with my nephew several years ago lol), but I've always been interested in tabletop RPGs. I just don't really know anyone in my area who plays. So, I think that this play by post concept would be great for me. I've gone onto the D&D beyond site and created a character and would love to dive in.

My biggest concern is joining a campaign and being so new at it that I annoy everyone with my noobness. So if there is a beginner friendly campaign out there, I'd love to know about it! Thank you!

Fail, welcome to TTW! You sound exactly like me when I started here. Same situation, same interests! We're very much a new-player-friendly group around here, so don't worry about that a bit. If you see a game recruiting you want to join, just post your interest and go from there. If there isn't one recruiting currently that fits you, feel free to dive in with a new forum and create your own game and story!
