1. What game system are you running (D&D, Call of Cthulu, Palladium, GURPS, etc.), and if applicable what edition (Original, Classic, Revised, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 10th, etc.)?
Shadowrun 4E
2. What 'type' or variant of game will it be (i.e. "Shadow Chasers" or "Agents of Psi" for d20 Modern)? What is the setting for the game (eg. historic period, published or homebrewed campaign setting, alternate reality, modern world, etc.)?
Standard SR
3. How many Players are you looking for? Will you be taking alternates, and if so, how many?
4-6 preferred, alternates as they line up. I would like to say that if the party is short a paticular role, then the next one up that wants to play as that role will get it.
4. What's the gaming medium (PbP, MapTool, OpenRPG, etc.)?
PbP
5. What is the characters' starting status (i.e. experience level)?
Standard character creation
6. How much gold or other starting funds will the characters begin with?
As per character creation.
7. Are there any particular character classes, professions, orders, etc. that you want... or do not want? What are your rules on 'prestige' and/or homebrewed classes?
I prefer for everyone to work together to establish their paticular roles.
8. What races, subraces, species, etc. are allowed for your game? Will you allow homebrewed races or species? 'Prestige' races or species?
This is where it gets to be fun. SURGE is mandatory, and a magical attribute is highly suggested as Cyberware does not cooperate too well with SURGE. So, an adept, TM, Mage... all magical types are fair game. And yea a group like that will get noticed as magic users arn't that common, but to have a whole group of magic users...
9. By what method should Players generate their attributes/ability scores and Hit Points?
Standard 400 CP method.
10. Does your game use alignment? What are your restrictions, if so?
Standard for SR, but be aware... some actions have unintended consequences that fall outside the scope of the rules.
11. Do you allow multi-classing, or have any particular rules in regards to it?
I would prefer folks to stay within their roles, but it's not expressedly forbidden. It just works better in the long run.
12. Will you be doing all of the die rolling during the course of the game? Will die rolls be altered, or left to the honor system? If players can make die rolls, which ones do they make, how should they make the rolls, and how should they report them?
Some rolls I might do, but most will be in the player's hands under the honor system.
13. Are there any homebrewed or optional/variant rules that your Players should know about? If so, list and explain them, or provide relevant links to learn about these new rules.
Only that karma tends to be tainted by the actions taken to earn it. Good = better dealing with some spirit types, Bad Karma = Toxics like to snuggle up to ya...
And... TM's get twice their logic in programs for free at max rating. No, you can't buy any more.
14. Is a character background required? If so, how big? Are you looking for anything in particular (i.e. the backgrounds all ending up with the characters in the same city)?
I do require at least enough BG to know your character, to get a general idea as to likes, dislikes, morals... and what'll REALLY tick the guy off and his likely reaction. The latter point is important as I'll be using it in the plotline.
15. Does your game involve a lot of hack & slash, puzzle solving, roleplaying, or a combination of the above?
Well... pre-planning and footwork make any run easier, but I won't force people to do it. If they want to go in blind... don't expect it to be easy. And some leg work might result in other smaller runs required.
16. Are your Players restricted to particular rulebooks and supplements, or will you be allowing access to non-standard material? What sources can Players use for their characters?
The books as published, but if you want to try something unique, let me know and we'll work something out. I'm not a dictator.
---
As a heads up, I do play with a kind of sandbox mentality. Players are free to do as little or as much legwork as they like. It's up to you guys to figure out what you can and can't handle. And, once things get rolling, actions that the characters take may lead to runs being offered that are beyond your ability, or are traps, if they are not careful.
In this game, reputation is king.
Yea, the game's title is "freak show" because of the Surge requirement.I requiring picking a theme (Kitsune, Fae, what nots... as long as it existed in myth) for your SURGE and fill those shoes.

Tentative roles/players, subject to change with no warning
Lass - Kitty Ninja/Social Adept
gmoz - ??? Social Adept
DrakeRaids - ??? Mage
Acisdol - ??? Rigger
Virgil - Simian Adept (Kung fu)
ffanxii4ever - Snake adept (melee/ranged)
Malikial - Cyclops ???
A couple of contacts:
Jarik "Templar" (Mr. Johnson) - Dwarf Geezer who's a little sick and tired of folks getting walked all over. He's got a long history and a very short temper, but once he swears to something it's as good as gospel. No, he's not a religious nutcase, he won't preach, but he will however pick his teeth with the bones of someone who messes with his runners. The street gossip is his cursing is just for show, it's harmless. It's when he /stops/ cursing that there's a problem... even more so when he's smiling. (Connections: 3)
"SneakerFox" - No one's met him in person but it's impossible to ignore his presence when he chooses to make himself known. He tends to meet in AR with the icon of a four tailed fox, escorted by a pair of nasty high powered sprites. (Connections: 2) (Note: He /can/ be hired on to help during a run, but he deals in favors, not nuyen.)
Ameila, Talismonger - Orc Bunny, SURGE friendly and a bit on the crazy side but that's never stopped her before. It's rumored that she gave over a power foci to one of her mage friends as a birthday gift. A powerful foci at that. (Connections: 4)
