Looking for a 3.5 game

I want to use maptools, or even OpenRPG, but I don't know how. If anyone is willing to teach me and DM a game for me, I'd love to play.

I've got a fighter, a barbarian, and a paladin, both completely new. If anyone wants to help me out, reply here or shoot me a PM.

Edit: No MapTools. And, I also don't want to use voice.

I'm not sure about DMing, or those systems (still rather new to the whole thing), but you can find another player in me! For table-top, I have years of experience with 3.5, so I can whip up a character fairly quickly.
Maybe a monk or a rogue? Something tricksy.

Both of those would be useful, so it's up to you. I think the concept of monks is really cool, so I'd like to see what'd be like to play with one, but rogues are cool too.

On a side note, Maptools is out. OpenRPG, specifically Traipse, is the one I want to use. Nyanta, if you need a link to download OpenRPG, just ask and I'll get it to you.

if you're still looking I have a lot of ideas for characters and am in need of a game as well. any day but thursday nights works for me what class would depend on what books are available and stat generation

You're in. As for stats, it'll depend on our DM, but I think he/she would have it standard.

Possibly a Cleric or Wizard, since at the moment we have no ranged magician. Clerics are good for healing, Wizards deal good damage, so they are both assets. In the end your class up to you, though.

So what ideas do you have for characters at this point?

several but it depends which of the 3.5 books are allowed lol, just phb? the complete books?(warrior, arcane, adventurer etc) as well as what level. I also need to know if this is going be a chat or post (I think it implied chat but need to know, I don't play by post)

those are all put out by wotc and I have access to all of them btw
