    Hildegard raises her drink.

"You have all been improbably brave. I have to believe the world better for our efforts."

She toast the group then drinks.

"I shall make preparations and investigations with divine aid, to ensure that the operation succeeds, Cormack."

"If I can, I shall also ask about Moloch's belt."

Johnny takes a drink of his orange juice and asks, "So you're really going to just, kill him? Why not just knock him out and then cut it out?"

"I heard the worm was in Cormack's heart. I don't know how to cut something out of a man's heart without the man dying," Hildegard answers.

"I am no medic. I was a fishmonger."

"I might just be a folktale. People tell crazy stories. Maybe magic can be used to tell the truth, but maybe a doctor could help, too. There must be a way to tell if his heart is beating correctly," Walden says.

A dagger appears - possibly a little too quickly - in Ivar's hand and he jokingly says

"You hold him ... I'll cut?" He quirks an eyebrow up on a slightly waspish bent as he wiggles the sharp blade. He looks around and spots the less than amused (one presumes) looks on a few of the faces.

And the dagger disappears just as quickly. He instead picks up his tankard and chuckles to himself as he drinks.

"Oh come on... that was funny" he mutters between sips.

Cormack says, "You'll forgive me if I miss the point of the joke."

"Althir, I think you've shared some wisdom with us in the tankard you're drinking. They say that alcohol can help dull pain. So maybe we should give a spot of whiskey to whoever it is that's doing the cutting. I don't want anyone feeling bad if this plan doesn't work like we intended," Walden jokes.

"Why don't we gather. I can pray -- casting Divination and Commune. Perhaps I should reword a question - perhaps Cormack need not die for the worm to be removed," Hildegard offers.

ooc: - draft questions were posted in thread 60.1 for improvement.

    - Are there other changes?
