It's true: it is indeed her nature. Money wasn't something the cleric hoarded; it was just something to give to those who needed it when you have it.

Damian follows Mr Green Cloak into the depot... after all he wanted to stick close to pick up the weapons later... in fact he can use the fact that they were all silvering their weapons in order to go wolf hunting as an ice breaker..... or a defense should he accuse them of being the creature... after all... a Werewolf would not be able to handle a silvered weapon.

Yeunni is the first to go ahead and give up and head over to the inn and wait. The building blocks some of the icy wind so it's easier to stand outside here than in some other places in town. Eldon and Ravewood also show up soon. They had similar results. These people are distrustful and don't want to talk to outsiders. Gallant is still waiting for the perfect target and Captain Alec is currently mid-conversation with someone.

The door to the inn opens and a man and woman walk out arm in arm. "Oh, good morning," the man says with a cheery voice. "Beautiful day, isn't it?" These must be the two other people staying at the inn. They are both very tall and they both have platinum blonde hair.

Damian reenters the Depot and finds Greencloak chatting it up with Wilhelm. The apprentice boy can be seen in the background, already working on the group's weaponry.

"It is if you happen to be an ice elemental," Yuenni replies, shivering but gamely attempting a smile nonetheless. "By any chance, did you two happen to see or hear anything strange last night while you were staying here?"

(OOC: Yuenni will attempt Insight on their responses and Perception on them in general. As the Malfoys proved long ago, people with platinum hair cannot be trusted. )

"Oh, no, we were out cold last night," the man says. "Pardon the pun. But we were exhausted when we checked in, having traveled for several days. We were just telling each other how deeply we slept. It's nice to meet you. I'm Bosh."

"Ashleigh," the woman says with a polite smile. "We're surveyors."

Their words seem genuine and nothing on or about them stands out as particularly suspicious.

"A pleasure, Bosh and Ashleigh," the cleric says with a smile and a head nod so pronounced that it was almost a small bow. "I am Yuenni Goldmoon. May I inquire what you two are here to survey? It is not, if you'll forgive my possible ignorance, a terribly common profession in these lands, is it?"

"Here? Nothing," Ashleigh says. "We're on our way back to Waterdeep from Sundabar. That's where the job was. We just stopped here for the night because we needed a place to get out of that nasty weather."

Gallant will wait while Yuenni speaks with the surveyors. No need to interrupt a conversation that seems to be going well.

"It was indeed a foul night," Yuenni says before adding without explanation, "weather-wise, at any rate. A pleasure to meet you both," she says before turning back to Gallant and smiling a little too crisply.

"Hello there" Damian says to the Man in the majestic Green Cloak.

"You were one of those who came to the house last night - right? Nasty Business.... nasty indeed. Are you a local here?"
