"I... have to deal with Silence," Dorian admits. "The Snake Society is going to be a problem, even if they have lost Dynamo after everything that has happened. They'll be looking to seize power as well, as well as spread their hatred across Tertia if given the chance. There's no way-"

His speech is interrupted as his phone rings out, an oddity given that not that many people try to contact him in the first place. He picks it up, only to notice the text from Forcefox. "... and Freya is going after Lovecraft, it seems," He says with a sigh. "Who, in all honesty... needs to be dealt with as well."

She stays around to talk up some of the suits some more, keeping to small talk and mostly getting to know these people. It seems a group that is prudent to know in the coming months. Inside she's debating if she should go after Lovecraft alone, not counting the aid of Phillips' men, or if she should call someone as back-up. Mentor is a bit of a dick, Max is hurt, Enfield is... Weird. Spirit Haven is busy raising kids, Liberty is probably busy governing, Perseus is... Where is that guy? Vlad is more than a little creepy, Galiena and Rosebud are not real friends, Doomsayer is murderous, the roto are busy with their ship... Well... Alone it is then I guess. She sends a text message to Liberty, Spirit Haven, and Enfield with an fyi as to where she is going and what she is going to do; mainly wreck Lovecraft's day.
She leaves as politely as possible and speeds off to the location pointed out by Phillips. Time to earn some good will.
The men there stand at attention when you arrive, scrambling to look busier even though they know there's little more they can actually do but wait. "We've got him cornered down there, Ma'am. He keeps sending us maniac messages about how ungrateful we are and how he's in the process of unleashing something our feeble minds can't grasp. Typical supervillain blustering, Ma'am."

Another worker adds with a grunt, "Never liked him anyways- I was drafted." He points at the door. "Best estimate on the door is two hours, assuming he doesn't perform some more technowizardry on it. Turns out that when you design a super-efficient password cracker, it works on your equipment too. What an idiot."

"I don't know how I can help you with that. She's a slippery one. Won't be easy to find. By now she could be anywhere. But she's probably going to be trying to get in contact with former allies." He looks after where Blue Sparrow ran off to. "I hope not. Maybe she'll have a change of heart, swap out her identity, and make a new life for herself. It's not like anyone would know who she was." Turning back to you, he offers you his hand as a gesture of temporary farewell. "Go, do what you must. I'll stay here until Max awakes."

    ---

As this is all going on, Galiena and Perseus are enjoying themselves at the bowling alley. As best they can, anyways, because the young lady understands little about the sport and has issues properly manipulating a bowling ball in the double digits. "I must admit I find little appeal in the act of throwing a round thing at a bunch of other things." Her less than articulate huffing tells you all about her mood that you need to know.

Two lanes down, a young man of moderately dark skin tone, curly hair, and charming features sits uneasily next to four or five women pestering him with questions. His clothing is hilariously dated- it might have been fashionable thirty years ago, but now he looks like he stepped out of a retro movie channel. The only truly notable piece of clothing he has on him is a sturdy-looking belt made entirely from metal. He almost seems grateful when the sea of doting ladies parts for the sake of two figures in orange hazardous material suits carrying fliers. He takes one and stares at it curiously before setting it down.

The man working the front desk seems un-flustered by the advertisers. These two suited persons walk up to you and give you a flyer labeled "Voluntary Mutant Extinction Movement". Neither you nor Galiena can easily understand anything they're saying through the suits, but they're enthusiastic. Galiena's face cycles through varying stages of confusion as she reads the pamphlet.

Forcefox looks around confused for a second to see who the man would be addressing. Only then realize he's talking to her.
Wow, ma'am... Never been called that before. I'm most likely younger than you. So... No ma'ams anymore ok? Just call me Forcefox, or F, or Pinky. She cocks her head slightly. Well that certainly sounds like him but I'm not convinced. He may be arrogant but he's not that stupid. Mind if I have a look at that door? She cracks her fingers and steps up to the control plate, linking her on board computer to it and runs the ugliest hack on it in the history of hacks; basically running a bulldozer over the code and ruining it, but getting the door to unlock.

Perseus spends his time switching between using his enhanced strength to get consistent strikes, and helping Galiena hold and throw the bowling ball. He's trying to be helpful and serious but her annoyed face is just so cute! Don't tell her that, he reminds himself.

He keeps an eye around as they take turns bowling and notices the young man nearby. Strange clothes, but if they worked for him, that was great. He's tempted to take a picture and ask Enfield if he had the same thing in his closet but decides to focus on bowling, or at least the attempts at it.
When the strange people walk up to him and start enthusiastically mumbling about how they want mutants to die out he takes the pamphlet, sets it on a nearby chair and gives them the smile only door-to-door salesmen and Jahovah's witnesses see- not reaching in his eyes but it looks nice enough. If it was only him he would start arguing about their stupidity but he doesn't want to interrupt Galiena's night.
"Thanks for telling us about this, but we'll pass for now. We're just here to have a good time here tonight." He states.

Haulian shipments would be perceived by the public—and I'm certain by much of Alamaoa's new government—as illegal smuggling. Too much of that, and any treaty on metahumans loses support. Any such shipments, if intercepted, would be subject to search and seizure. Were I in your boots, I would advise your factory heads not to overextend themselves."

"But the question of alien technology is an interesting one. All the tech that Supreme's government provided Alamaoa could contain poison pills and back doors, and sorting through the risks we face will slow down everything else. If you were to share what you know about it," he offers, "that might go a long way toward freeing up resources. We could rebuild our public institutions and get government services running the way they should. We'd get our jobs, our lives, our ports up and running again."

Enfield's voice and posture are unwaveringly Gus's, but slowly over the course of the conversation, Gus and K'tzir have found their rhythm, performing a kind of mental dance to leverage their respective skills and knowledge.
"Illegal smuggling?" He almost laughs. "It's hardly smuggling if you don't even have a border. Besides, you don't have the time or money to worry about putting a tariff on essential goods." Belousov still seems assured that he's holding all the cards here. With regards to your other concerns, he's annoyingly dismissive. "Yes, yes. All of those things are issues that will take time to deal with," the General offhandedly admits, sweeping them under the rug due to not being his own problem.
"But the technology... It's not so easy to convince my scientists and technicians to just hand over all of their notes. A lot of it is speculation." He gestures one way, and then the other. "Theoretical designs, possible applications... We only have a small fragment of information that we are stretching out and understanding the scope of. We just don't know a lot about it that your people don't either. After all, we don't have access to that ship,"
he points out. "If we did, that would make things easier. More material to experiment on. More engineers to talk to." He seeims interested in ending the conversation soon. "Do you have any other concerns for me? Any requests? Perhaps you also wish to drive the car?"

One soldier stifles laughter at the sound of 'Pinky', but the more official-looking man quiets him entirely before apologizing about the address. "Yes, Forcefox. It was meant to reference your authority, not your age. We're at your disposal." Every other soldier in the near vicinity rolls their eyes almost audibly.

The door comes open after your hack, which is a bit too convenient. The soldiers go on edge when out of the laboratory comes strolling the misshapen lovechild of the Black Lagoon creature and a bigfoot monster. Whatever it is, it's wearing a lab coat shredded to bits and is holding a briefcase. Guns are trained on the abomination, and it raises a hand. "Lady and gentlemen," it gurgles, "I would simply request passage. Mister Lovecraft has almost completed his project and I do not wish to be around when he unleashes it. I don't want to fight you, and you don't have the time to deal with me."

This doesn't entirely persuade her, as she writes something down that takes about a minute or so to transcribe and then hands it to you.

At the bottom is an address within the city limits of a small town nearby and an organizational phone number.

When she leaves, Galiena comments, "That sounds like it might be... extremely inconvenient. No wonder she's so adamant on the matter." She shrugs and prepares to toss the ball down the lane with both hands. "I don't intend to take her advice, though. We're in as bad enough straits as it is without people trying to actively eliminate mutants. I wonder what even qualifies, anyways. Is Lovecraft a mutant? He certainly seems to have super-intelligence, if not super-common-sense or super-ethics."

"Maybe being born with abilities, instead of getting them from a radioactive beaver or whatever kids are doing these days." Perseus suggests. Maybe he would snoop around later to see if it was a peaceful movement (he doubted that) but for right now he had much more important issues to worry about.

"I know I never asked, but now I'm curious-how did you find out you could teleport anyways?" Knowing if his potential significant other might be targeted is rather high on Perseus's list of things to do.
"I found mine out when I was much younger. Cuts healing faster, being better at athletics than other people, that sort of thing."

Forcefox shuffles uneasily at the mention of her having any authority. It's so anathema to what she's all about, mainly blatant anarchy, that it's more than a little uncomfortable to her.
I don't have any... she starts as the door slides open and reveals dr. Munster. Forcefox cocks her head as she weighs his words. Sorry, can't let you leave just like that. For all I know you're Lovecraft after some mutagenics gone bad. Though I admit, that's a bit of a stretch. Convince me, or stay.
