2 more Health Potions (taking him up to 4 potions.)
    A Crowbar
    A Grappling Hook
and he will refresh his rations back up to 20 (will need to purchase 7 - I think based off the top of my head).

Let me know if there is anything else anyone thinks might be handy .... I have no idea if we need to do any climbing/spelunking/door forcing etc... that's why i'm trying to cover the bases. Plus I carry bugger all at the moment.
Looking at the Equipment pricing on DND Beyond =

Dungeoneer's Pack = 12gp - Backpack, Rope, Pitons (10) Hammer, Crowbar, 10 days rations, tinderbox, waterskin, 10 torches.
    Hooded Lantern = 5gp
    Iron Spikes (10) = 1gp
    Grappling Hook = 2gp
    Oil Flasks x 3 = 3sp
    1 bag of caltrops = 1gp
    1 bag of ball bearings = 1gp
    2 x Healing Potions = 100gp
And for Giggles 3 x Wooden Stakes as well.

Comes to a total of = 122g 3s "Shopping" and i'm still well under the "weight" limit for my guy. Besides I figure the pack/s will be strapped to the Horse while travelling anyway... and only really carried towards the end when we actually venture into the waterfall.

I would have brought a shovel... but I assumed they were the long handled ones.... so unless you can have a short handed/folded handle one like what you take camping then I won't bother. But if I can then let me know and ill throw that into the list as well.

Ill have to do the actual coin deductions and CS updating tomorrow. Bed calls... work in the morning.

Rian's business: Great Grains (a middle man for grain growers)
His factor is a woman: Siouxsie Sunshine
we'll also ship grains converted to their liquid form which is easier to do on rivers
