She takes a deep breath. Boy did she not like this blue lady. And saying her real name like that out loud? Come on, that's just bad taste.
Continuing to support Max she looks over at the roto commander and gives her a quick smile, meant to reassure her.
Once you get that ship somewhat functional again I've got a better place where you can park it. At the moment it is scaring the people of the city. They've been through a lot these past days. I'm pretty good with tech and more than willing to lend a hand.
"I appreciate that," the commander says with a smile, "We'll get it out of the sky and try to land it somewhere innocuous." She nods curtly before commanding her unit to move out and work on the ship. "If you want to help, we could use the extra hands on deck."

Blue Sparrow is peeved, but she keeps a hold on her temper. "I'm sure they would have loved to have let Lovecraft's robotic force at you while you were handling the big fish, then swooped in and claim the kill. But they understand what cooperation means."

Mentor rolls his eyes at her melodrama. "Sparrow, just let it be. You're not winning this fight. Not in argument and definitely not in power. Besides, I'm sure you don't want people digging for your identity."

"Go ahead. I've been Blue Sparrow long enough that it is my identity now," the vigilante counters, walking off angrily.

He shakes his head, "Even now, I still have regrets. So many things could have been done differently during our missions, so many people could have been saved, and weren't... Some of those people's souls still scream at me during the night, begging for a second chance as if I can bring them back from the dead. I can only be glad that I can shut those voices out at will..." He gives a small sigh as he looks towards Gale. "There is much those with powers can do for those who don't. Flight for rescue efforts, energy manipulation to power homes and devices... but we need to get away from the fact that our powers are not simply for fighting others. And we need to convince others of that too. Of the potential for good to be done in the world. It will not be easy, for sure... but we cannot simply give up now. Not when so much has been accomplished already."

He looks off into the distance and mumbles out, "Besides, I have some unfinished business before I even think of shuffling off this mortal coil... a mistake I made that must be undone."

The young woman takes your words to heart. "I want to believe you, but sometimes I feel like I'm better off trying to conjure tornadoes and storms than light rain. It's certainly easier for me." When you mutter, she picks up on it. "A mistake?" Gale asks curiously. "What kind of mistake? Did you hurt someone? Fail to save them? Give them bad advice?" A short pause, and then she adds, "Maybe you should let it go. Maybe things worked out for them."

Forcefox turns her head to the son of Supreme.
It was sweet of you to come and help, thank you. You'll get back to to base with Vlad yeah? I have to go with them... she looks at the roto, more importantly to the two that didn't survive the fight and hands Max off to the creepy not-vampire. She steps over to the roto and offers to help carry one of the fallen; a male with electric blue hair and an old scar on the side of his face. She can feel her throat closing up and she swallows heavily. I'm so sorry." is all she manages to say to the other roto. A pause and she continues: "I rescued another roto yesterday that was being held captive by a bad guy. He's still back at our base because I didn't want to pull him into this fight and then I pulled you in didn't I? His name's Green Scout, maybe you know him? We have to pick him up when we fly out of the city. He'll be thrilled to see you too. the not-so-petite-when-compared-to-other-roto super suggests. She goes with her people to lend whatever aid she can.

Haven doesn't answer immediately, giving a small sigh at Gale's attentiveness. "A lot of problems don't go away simply by hoping they do," Haven replies after a minute of silence. "I don't expect anything to get easier just because of what happened today. If anything, the real fight starts tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that... dealing with the aftermath that will shake the world as we know it." He deliberately avoids answering Gale's question directly, because it's something he feels like he needs to do alone in the first place.

"For now, we just need to clear the area, make sure things are relatively safe... and get some rest. Especially the ones who fought Supreme today. Tomorrow is a new day."

"And who said you were going to unanimously decide that?" Max grunts and clutches at his side as he's helped up. The Roto commander nods, gesturing to her fellows to join her in making an appeal.

Blue Sparrow points at her comlink. "The Haulians, if you expect them to turn around and go home instead of stopping another alien invasion." She looks back at it and then realizes that it's in Max's hand. "When did you-"

"Does it matter?" Max pants, and hands the comlink to Enfield before sitting back down on the wreckage. "You're the expert in diplomacy, right?"
General Belousov is one of the names on the electronically rendered list.
"I guess we're about to find out," Enfield says, turning the comlink over in his hand. He holds it up to his face and pauses, a brief moment of terror flashing across his face. "In truth," he chuckles nervously, "he's the Ambassador," he says of K'tzir, indicating by tapping the side of his head with his free hand. Slowly, uncertainly he places the comlink to his lips, then his ear, looking a little confused. He stops himself before he can try his forehead and looks to Blue Sparrow, "How does this doohickey work?"

With the aid of those around him, he speaks into the device:

"General Belousov, can you hear me?" He clears his throat, "I assume you're the one in charge, with a title like that. They call me Enfield up here," he waves to the Haulian forces below, "and I'd like to talk to you about withdrawing your forces from Alamaoan soil. As a show of good will, I'll introduce myself: I am Gus Green, Vessel for K'tzir, Envoy of the Kala'thuumian Enclave, Second-in-Command of the Enfield Mission, and Officer of the Alamaoan National Intelligence Agency. I'd sure like to meet you, so if you could lay down your arms, that'd be grand."

He looks to Forcefox, "It's been a while since the Cold War, I'm told, but that ought to get his attention."

"Of course. Take care of yourself, and don't geek out too hard." Max nods. He smiles and breathes in deeply to gather his strength before picking up Dynamo and throwing the Snake over his shoulder. "See you later," he gives you a thumbs-up before beginning to hover with the limp villain in hand. He quietly jumps off the building and with a little effort descends slowly enough to let Dynamo down to the ground alive into police custody. Adamant quietly stands by.

Something speeds past your head as you step into the ship. Everyone goes on guard, but nothing comes of it and after a bit, everyone moves on. A few minutes of walking and you find yourself at some access panels. The Devourers had altered them to fit their size, but a few button presses bring the monitors and keyboards down to eye level. Several major pieces of the ship's engines and infrastructure have been compromised, including long-term life support. Pretty much everything is bleeding power, and a couple of CPUs for door systems are simply fried.

It's telling to you that this ship was originally developed to function for Morph Machines and Roto alike. The blue-haired male makes contact with Green Scout, who's excited to hear about all of this. "He says he can help with some of the reprogramming and hardware."

A star map can be seen on the main screen, as can a three-dimensional map of space nations. Perhaps this is an opportunity to hail another Roto ship for help or settlement.

Gale nods, though she doesn't really understand what you want her to do. She's spent so long listening to orders from her 'parents' and presumably other people that despite her outburst earlier, she wants direction for her actions. "I-I guess I could find a room here for my brother and I to rest in. One near another, so you can sleep in the next room over. Then we can find the Champions, right?" She starts moving in that general direction, still somewhat unsure.

If you want to hunt down Silence, now is as good a time as any. She's still a human, and lacking teleportation, flight, or intangibility, she can't get far on foot. It's only a matter of time until you corner her in person.

Belousov audibly thinks for a few seconds on the other side of the device. "Deal. Go with Adamant and the rest of us will withdraw. You have my word of honor. And if that counts for nothing..." He barks an order into another line, and Adamant nods.

Waving a hand to address his allies, the giant declares, "Unload your weapons and place them on the ground in front of you. This order comes from the General." When the confused Haulian soldiers do so, he concentrates. The weapons, as well as a lot of the refuse metal from the destroyed robots, jump to a spot five feet in front of Adamant's closed fist. "Gravity Well holding- Unity Structure!" Shrieks of metal against metal begin and end in an instant, and a multicolored metal sphere sinks into the ground. Max, who is near it, is able to inspect the shape- it's a metal sculpture of Tertia.

"A little ahead of time," the General admits, his gravelly voice and heavy accent leaking through. "We were planning on using that when all the paperwork was signed. For the crowds and such. But if that's what it takes for a peace talk."
Adamant will escort you and whoever else wishes to go to an armored truck with comfortable seating. The arrangements are suited for officers. Mentor is willing to go. Max is not.

Forcefox takes a few moments to adjust to the roto interfaces but quickly figures most of it out and finds the gps coordinates from 'her' shut down scout ship. They were still in the system from when the morph machines tracked her earlier transmission.
Here. She points to the spot on the navigation interface. That's a good place to land and make large scale repairs. It's out of densely populated areas and there's a roto vessel still there that you can reclaim. Maybe use for parts? It's not far, so we only have to get this thing ready to get to there. Everything else, the life support, doors, cupholders and stuff we can repair decently there. Maybe set up a temporary embassy there? And figure out where other roto are and let them know this is safe haven, or at least neutral ground.

The work begins. Tertia begins its long path towards a semblance of peace.

Questions to answer: This is about the point in the situation where the wheels come off via infighting, so... One or more of the following as a start to the next Transition Scene.
    • How do you view the Haulians? Genuine allies, allies of convenience, or an opposition force poised to stab you in the back at the earliest convenience?
    • What is a non-negotiable value or goal you have for the new Alamaoa?
    • Do you have a hero or villain that you want to consult about their desire for the reform?
    • What's an important challenge left over that needs to be overcome?

    1. The Hualians, for Spirit Haven, are fairly troublesome. He's not completely sure if they can be trusted, especially since they were butting heads before their shared antagonist bit the dust. Nonetheless, he'd be willing to cooperate with them if they show good faith... he'll leave negotiations to the experts, though.
    2. Above all else, Spirit Haven wants an Alamaoa that doesn't have to fear supers. After spending so much time under a tyrannical leader, he knows that it will be an uphill battle to persuade the general populace that they can be more than machines of destruction.
    3. Silence and Spirit Haven need to have a little... chat.
    4. The matter of the Force "parentage" still needs to be addressed.... and how it affects the whole of Tertia.

    • Enfield (K'tzir) views them as the latter, with the hopes that they can work toward the former. He (Gus) suspects the invasion force wasn't there in the name of liberation, only.
    • Independence and autonomy, with a true Democratic government. If could take a while. Enfield (K'tzir) believes that in order to competently interact with the universe beyond Tertia, the planet will need a unified government. But he (Gus) also believes that this unification cannot come by conquest, and that Alamaoa, restored to its former ideals, is the greatest hope for the planet.
    • Lady Liberty is absolutely key. If she does not rise to power in Alamaoa herself, her endorsement of whomever does will be vital to the legitimacy of the new government.
    • Holding off Haulian ambitions long enough to rally Alamaoa to rebuild and restore. There may need to be some truth and reconciliation or tribunals around the actions of those who served Supreme, and care must be taken to satisfy victims without vengeance or opportunity for neighbor to turn on neighbor.

    - As Haulians. If they have no guns or similar Forcefox pays them no mind. If they have guns they are invading and violating the sovereignty of Alamoa and Forcefox won't tolerate that. To be clear, Forcefox also wouldn't tolerate Alamoa invading Haulia. Forcefox doesn't consider them enemies or allies. Because there is no clear struggle atm, so allies or enemies in the fight against what?
    - Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
    - Forcefox doesn't care. As she has suggested she thinks Justice is probably a good person to ask advice. But Freya herself doesn't do politics and long term organization. She will step in when villains become clear but if if they're not supers Forcefox'll leave it to human authorities. At heart Forcefox is an anarchist so she won't tell anyone else what to do, only present reckoning to those that go wrong.
    - Facilitate the roto's integration in Tertia. Humans and roto can learn much from each other. Actually, extend that to all supers. Not only acceptance of supers by humans but also responsibility by supers. Oh, and take down Lovecraft and put him in a padded cell with nothing but paper and crayons.
