I am still crafting the Time Skip posts (one to leave Harmony and close Chapter Two, one to enter Riddleport and open Chapter Three). That won't be finished till Sunday night, too many obligations today.
In the meantime maybe this will spark some discussion about where players want their PCs to go once they reach Riddleport...?
Important Riddleport Figures and their Locations
Korman knows eight NPCs and their last known locations.
Arnando Rolf (Publican House, pub and temple of Cayden Cailean)
Kwava (The Mysteria Inn)
Jasker Gant and Boss Croat (Fort Gnash, Boss Croat’s compound)
Yasmin and Father Padrick (St Caspieran’s Mission)
Antonio and Annalise (Korman’s Dad’s hidden cabin)
Bel knows these four NPCs and their last known locations.
Memnok (Memnok’s Tower)
Anton Mescher (Garrison/Prison)
Elias Tammerhawk (Cypher Lodge)
Tromard Roldheim (Gas Forges)
Ulvenn knows every NPC/location that Korman knows EXCEPT Kwava and Antonio and Annalise. Ulvenn also knows every NPC that Bel knows EXCEPT Anton Mescher.
In addition Ulvenn knows these NPCs and their last known locations:
Riddleport’s Eight Major Crimelords (see Ulvenn Only spoiler, various locations)
Commander Sternshard (Order of the Black Arrow HQ)
Argentus Blakely (Cypher Lodge and the Mysteria Inn)
Arnando Rolf is the burly and boisterous Varisian human owner of the Publican House, Riddleport’s most popular pub/inn and a multi-story temple to Cayden Cailean. Rolf is eager to welcome travelers (but NOT Cyphermages) and a tremendous gossip and lover of tall tales.
Kwava is a placid Mwangi half-elf marksman who rooms at the Mysteria Inn with his trained hawk Gan. He scours Riddleport for suspicious activity and helps where he can, but his true mission is seeking out an elf who abandoned the outpost in Mierani Forest outside Celwynvian.
Jasker Gant is a pale skinned and stoic Varisian half-orc monk and a trusted capp for Boss Croat. When not out on a job he’s holed up in Fort Gnash, Croat’s heavily guarded compound for his drug smuggling. He and Scarlip (the half-orc with the twisted lip) administered Korman’s near fatal beating when he would not give up the location of Antonio and Annalise and the other escaped orphans.
Yasmin is a jaunty red-skinned tiefling priestess of Sarenrae. She saved Korman from the beating and took him St. Caspieran’s Mission, a charity hostel run by serene Sun-Father Padrick, an old priest of the Dawnflower.
Memnok is a cryptic and bitter Chelaxian human wizard whom Bel had sought out as a mentor for weapon enchanting, as had Ulvenn on his mother’s recommendation. They had found the wizard’s power so greatly diminished he could not demonstrate anything he taught, though the locals still feared him and would not approach his remote cliffside tower.
To her dismay she’d discovered Memnok was stealing scrolls and components from the Cyphermages and other local or visiting wizards. She’d told Ulvenn she was leaving because Memnok was about to be arrested (without elaborating that she was the one who reported him, as he would be safer in jail than facing the wizards’ wrath), and advised he do the same.
**Side note: Bel had given Ulvenna a holy symbol of Abadar and told him to present it in the Gold-Fisted Father’s temple in Magnimar if he ever needed refuge---and years later that’s how they reconnected, after Ulvenn’s escape from the ship taking him from Varisia to Bello’s facility in the Mwangi Expanse.
Anton Mescher is a dour Galtan human, Riddleport supreme Overlord Gaston Cromarcky’s righthand man, and Commander and Head Warden of the garrison/prison not so aptly nicknamed “Shoreleave.” Unlike most Riddleport officials, he is severe but not ambitious or corrupt and prefers to meet with employees, inmates, and citizens face to face. He is secretly a worshiper of Abadar. He took Bel’s concerns seriously when she told him Memnok’s thefts could lead to a violent outbreak of magic duels when the cyphermages sought comeuppance.
Elias Tammerhawk is the magnetic and intense Shoanti-Varisian human Speaker of the Order of Cyphers of Cypher Lodge where they study the runes and glyphs and phenomena of the Cyphergate. Elias claimed Riddleport would undergo a grand reformation once he rose to Overlord. He oft pressured Bel to have dinner with him and to join the Order. She resisted and he’s one of the reasons she left town.
**Side note: the Cyphergate is looming 700 feet wide architectural marvel of an arch rising 350 feet out of the sea with bricks that bear runes and glyphs from an unidentified ancient civilization, possibly Azlanti or Thassilonian. There is speculation the gate forms an unbroken ring below the surface.
**Side note: Bel is aware there is an elfgate around the base closest to Memnok’s Tower and how to activate it. Use an incantation (that varies on your destination) and answer three related riddles in Elvish which appear on a certain stone when it’s tapped in the right rhythm, based on the song “Randir” (“Wanderer”).
Tromard Roldheim is a Jahnderhoff dwarf and the terse Chief Engineer of the all-dwarf Gas Forges where all manner of metalworking and smithing take place. In all Varisia only their facility can smelt adamantine, due to superheated natural vents in the bedrock. Bel did her weaponsmithing and enchanting apprenticeship under his watchful eye. Regretfully she left town before she could proceed to adamantine.
**Side note: To a lesser extent Ulvenn received Tromard’s smithing tutelage as well, but to the dwarf’s great disapproval Memnok kept the man preoccupied.
The eight crimelords and locations, their specialties and their allies/rivals in order of their descending status:
The Shadowlord (secretly Elias Tammerhawk of Cypher Lodge though many dismiss this as a rumor) involved in assassination, spying, and blackmail. He is allied with Shorafa Pamodae and considers all other crimelords mere obstacles.
Avery Slyeg (River Runner fancy inn owner who fleeces all patrons) Varisian human “retired” pirate most successfully involved in smuggling and black market fencing and goods. Ally of Saul Vancaskerkin. Rival of Clegg Zincher and Boss Croat.
Clegg Zincher (Eviscerator Arena) Varisian human involved in organized labor unions (and industrial sabotage), gladiatorial fighting and gambling. Ally of Boss Croat and Shorafa Pamodae. Hateful nemesis of Saul Vancaskerkin whose son killed his brother Falk over a woman. Rival of Avery Slyeg.
Boss Croat (Fort Gnash) fat and snide Belkzen half-orc with monopoly on the drug/illicit substance crafting and smuggling trade within his heavily fortified compound, who also has assassins on retainer. Ally of Clegg Zincher. Rival of Shorafa Pamodae and Avery Slyeg.
Shorafa Pamodae (House of the Silken Veil) tiefling madam, priestess of Calistria goddess of lust and revenge, and top information broker. Ally of Clegg Zincher and the Shadowlord/Elias. Rival of Boss Croat and Varnal Knocmar.
Varnal ‘Split Face’ Knocmar (Gaston’s Wharf) Varisian human with cleft palate involved in pickpocketing and information brokering through his network of beggars and many grog shops in the Wharf District and slummy Rotgut District. Has no allies because they don’t trust him not to inform on them. Rival of Shorafa Pamodae.
Saul Vancaskerkin (gambling district) human gang leader, extortionist and fixer. Ally of Ziphras, but he has burned bridges with everyone else, particularly Clegg.
Ziphras (Boneyard, town dump with derelict ships and other refuse) Qadiran human leader of streetgang muggers, rumored to be a wererat looking for new recruits. Ally of Saul Vancaskerkin but shunned by everyone else for suspicion of lycanthropy.
And non-criminals…
Commander Sternshard (Order of the Black Arrow HQ) shrewd and tough ex-military Janderhoff dwarf with one milky blind eye. His Order takes “volunteers” from the prison to train to slay giants. He tried to recruit Ulvenn but was turned down.
Argentus Blakely (Cypher Lodge resident and frequently lecturer at the Mysteria Inn) pedantic and pudgy middle-aged Varisian human wizard/cyphermage and stargazing scholar that Ulvenn stole from more than once for Memnok. Ulvenn is unsure whether Argentus ever saw his face or sussed out his identity.
She was told by Rhodal to seek out Samaritha Beldusk at Cypher Lodge
MAP OF VARISIA (not to say these are marked on an actual map, but various PCs know where the labeled places are---only Korman knows of the cabin, natch)

Reason: added Luciana only
Also, There's nothing in particular that I can think of that you don't have covered for Riddleport (As long as i'm remembering correctly that the note Ulvenn got to give to a boat captain (dock master?) was in Oppara)
Bad new for the family, Grandma fell and injured her spine and we are rushing to PA to see her before her (second attempt) at surgery. I believe all will be well. But I will be absent most of today, may not meet tonight's deadline. I am off Monday and will post then for sure, try to get us to Riddleport and get the Loot thread up.
"The tribe is ruled over by a king whose power is absolute (...). Immediately upon his elevation he is gelded, blinded with a fiery stick, and his hands and feet are cut off, so that the world will not distract him from wisdom. He is confined within a cavern, whose name is Citadel (Qzr); the only persons who may enter are the four witch doctors and a pair of female slaves who serve the king and smear his body with dung. If there is a war, the witch doctors take him from the cavern, exhibit him to the tribe to spur the warriors' courage, sling him over their shoulders, and carry him as though a banner or a talisman into the fiercest part of the battle. When this occurs, the king generally dies within seconds under the stones hurled at him by the Apemen."
Thank you! She is 88. But honestly it's going as well as it can. Had a nice visit today, she was very lucid and told stories about raising kids and grandkids on the family farm.
Please check to see if there is anything in the "Unclaimed Loot" post you want to add to your PC's official INVENTORY (which appears in the next post in the new thread).
Also please check to see whether your PC may be holding loot that they aren't using that would benefit someone else with less? And/or if your loot total is ahead of other people's we could let the people with less have "dibs" on crafted loot and new spoils until the numbers get more even? I'll need you all to work with me on this to reach a point of balance.
Speaking of things to add, could you PM me the following...
Mammon's latest mercy, replacing the one from that book not on our list of sources that affects ability damage?
Flint's new Rogue talent, replacing the one from that book not on our list of sources that affects speech during sneak attack?
Hakon's seventh Level Feat? Maybe a ranged combat Feat would compliment him..?
Ulvenn's 8th Level slayer/rogue/ninja talent?
Well I am out of steam past 3 am and calling it a night. We have the scene b/t Arod and Ulvenn to wrap up, and anything else folks want to say or do including equipping your characters.
Just saying depending on where you go in Riddleport, you could get into a fight real soon...
Glad to hear that despite the fall she's doing alright.
Also, as long as no one objects I'll be offering the Cloak of Elvenkind back to Arod (2500 gp) which if anyone is concerned with I will ensure Ulvenn repays them either with a new cloak of elvenkind or by working on their armor/weapons (since he can craft now).
EDIT: As for Slayer Talent, since Everyman Unchained isn't accessible (Curse Slayer's lack of support in official Paizo content! T.T*) I'll go ahead and just snag up a Rogue Talent: Weapon training to grab weapon Focus. +1 to hit is nothing to sneer at.
*JK. Slayer is already a beast of a class, definitely among my favorites in pathfinder. (I think the part I like most is that it is like the Ranger in that it is a combat class with high skill points, but without HAVING to be nature themed/have favored enemy**)
**I have a strange relationship with hating favored enemies
The two he has on his sheet right now are sickened and diseased. Although my hero labs has been acting up recently. Hence the lack of updating character sheets.
