Your bomb hits the head's face, knocking most of its teeth out and blowing off a good portion of its grey "skin". Underneath you can see dented bronze skull.

The skull floats above the flames and towards you. It opens its mouth wide and blows a freezing gust of air out at you.

Seeing his bomb struck perfectly, Dorsard runs as far away as he can from the skull while making sure to not corner himself. Unless water was present, the fire would burn the skull to death without him having to do another thing!

As you sprint away from the head as fast as your stubby dwarf legs will carry you, you hear a crash behind you. You look back and see the burning, twisted wreck of a mechanical head lying on the ground.

Suddenly you hear more grinding gears beneath the floor. A rather ugly mechanical orc pops up to your right. His right hand holds a bulging brown sack with a money sign printed on it. His right hand is holding a crossbow to the head of a slightly less ugly and very small mechanical kobold in a frilly pink dress.

The orc speaks. Or rather, its chest speaks. It seems this automaton doesn't have a fancy opening-and-closing mouth, and has a speaker under its shirt. As a result, its voice is a little muffled.

"Give me the money or the kid gets it," the orc's chest says.

"Ah!" cries a voice from the kobold's chest. It sounds a lot like the orc if the orc was trying to sound like a little girl. "Please don't shoot me!"

"Filthy orc? Check. Draconic slave? Check. Two birds with one bomb?" Dorsard reaches into his pocket and pulls out another explosive. His face stretches into a grin. "Check."

Your bomb lands in front of the kobold girl and bursts into flames. A scream comes out from her speaker, and she collapses to the ground. The orc, also on fire, points its crossbow at you and lets a bolt loose.

Taking advantage of his height Dorsard ducks under the bolt and charges the flaming orc. Normally he would just wait for it to die, but this time a ranged weapon was involved. There was no guarantee another bolt would miss.
"Sor Hok Faen!" He shouts as his warhammer streaks toward the orc's kneecaps!

Your hammer almost grazes the orc's kneecaps. Almost.

The orc, its head still blazing, retaliates by swinging a mechanical fist towards your head.

The blow hammers into Dorsard's face, almost taking him down. But with Dwarven tenacity he simply straightens back up and swings straight for the orc's head, his blood boiling with genetic hatred!

Your hammer, combined with the still burning fire, seems to do the trick. The mechanical orc shudders and falls to the ground. Suddenly panels in the ceiling open and a dry white powder falls down over the fiery areas, extinguishing the flames.

The door to the Simulator opens.

"Alright," Bhatt calls from the doorway. "Your aim is good, but your situational awareness is not. You blew up an innocent hostage child. You'll need to work on that if you ever wish to go on a combat-related externship."
