Rodaford kept pace with his companions as they raced towards the squirming, writhing mass of flesh that had grappled their hungry goblin scout.

"Tsukohari, we must get that goblin free before it's injuries are too great."

His sonorous voice rose above the din as he kept pace behind the swordswoman.

Tsukohari moves until she is 20ft removed from the maggot like abomination grappling the unfortunate Grent.
Zirril, who can now see the Grimslake thanks to Tsu's illumination, warns his fellows of the dangers this creature poses and strikes it with three small magic missiles.
Grent tries to break loose of the Grimslake, even as he is staggered by the painful stinger sucking at his marrow, but he fails.
Matiilda approaches until she is 20ft removed.
Sarvina approaches until she is 30ft removed.
Rodaford keeps pace with Mattilda and Sarvine offering his advice.

    Second round:
The Grimslake rights itself like a maggoty snake hissing with its barb filled maw as its barbed stinger tightens its grip on Grent and continues feeding on the lean goblin. It displays an extensive agility and reach. ((Careful, thing has 10ft reach.))

The Ratfolk can't believe his lack of luck when it comes to new teammates, watching one after the other get their rump handed to them by the aberration with attitude. Staying where he is, incase he needs to make a run for it, Zirril points his stave towards the beast and fires Magic Missile again. He doesn't want anywhere near that thing incase it can throw up on them, too.

Mattilda waddles in closer and prepares to strike, her claw seeming ablaze and dripping with some green substance.

The creatures hide seems to be too think though and she can't cut through; It also seems to have some kind of glass or something embedded in it as she nicks her finger on it.

Grent squirms, his laughing now stopped, his face in panic and fear as he looks over his shoulder to see his friends I'm never ever never ever planning to back stab a worm that can eat my marrow again, cause this sucks hard core. He thinks, hunger for once off his mind as he squirms trying to free himself from the goblin eating horror, but whatever the case, he dosn't look good, at all.

(to post my action, had to ask a question)

Grent coughs, as he wriggles his rapier out and goes to stab the thing while smileing "At least...at least I found where to get food." he says, going for a blow, as he can't escape the grasp of the killer worm.

Sarvine summons her power and wills the beast to fall into a slumber, which hopefully it will awaken from too late.

(Slumber hex, DC 19. if passes, asleep for only 5 rounds. if doesnt, asleep for 5 minutes if we dont mess with it.)

Tsu is moving around, going for a flanking position before running straight for it and leaping, spinning almost horizontally through the air as her blade slices like a circular saw. "Sword Art: Rolling Arc!!"

Authentic Forum Dice-rollExpert Attack - (1d20+7-2) (6) [11] and +2 to AC until next turn
    Authentic Forum Dice-rollDamage - (1d8+4+3d6) (7) (6, 3, 5) [25] + Disoriented(-2 to attack rolls, additional -2 vs. Tsu)

Coming down, backing a step, she brandishes her cape, challenging. "C'mon you fat grub, pick on the juicy birdy!" Waving it back and forth. (Cape of Bravado Challenge: it must pass a Will Save of 11 or it has to attack Tsu on its next turn)

Rodaford hesitated, not because of fear though the monster was certainly worthy but for tactical reasons... that reason being self-preservation. With Tsukohari drawing the maggoty monster's attention, Rodaford circled opposite ensuring as much as possible that attentions were placed elsewhere.

While eyes were on the flamoyant and impressive display wrought by Tsukohari's unusual sword skill, Rodaford shifted from unarmed gentleman to sword wielding aristocratic fencer as he drew a rapier thin sword from his cane in a fluid and practiced move.
