that door opens easily. Plesio sees a stone and tile chamber about 10 feet high with a raised dais in the middle and narrow windows about 8 feet off the ground. On the dais is a broad pedestal made of stone about 3 feet high. There's a wooden stand with a document under glass next to the pedestal and a small wooden chest with no latch at the foot of the pedestal. . a simple chandelier hanging from the ceiling provides light to the room. There's a stone door on the other side directly across with no visible knob or latch

You see the following on the paper, written in Common and a few other languages like Dwarven and Elvish:
An unusual party once stopped at the Manor. If you can figure out from these clues the race, weapon, and job of the party members you will open the next door.

    1. When asked if he used the knives, the Halfling laughed
    2. The Human preferred the shadows
    3. The Elf was not a fan of Nature
    4. The Dwarf was a dead shot
    5. We were warned not to anger the Halfling.
    6. None of them could cast magic

You can see a 3x4 grid in the pedestal from where you stand.

Plesio walks over the pedestal. Being just over 3 feet tall, Plesio stands on his tiptoes read the parchment, and then looks to see the grid.

Mills nods as if understanding, then leans back making himself comfortable, removing his swords and laying them in the grass beside him.

"Oh... wandering mostly..." he mumbles in reply.

Only one set of tiles has writing. Those are the jobs, and they say Fighter, Rogue, Ranger, Barbarian
The weapons are pictures. and they are: A sword, a bow, a pair of daggers, and an axe
The races are also pictoral, depicting an elf, a human, a dwarf, and a halfling. the tiles are the same shape and size as the indetations on the top of the pedestal

Arasmes takes a peek: "So the dwarf used a bow. Human was a rogue. Elf wasn't a ranger, so a fighter. The halfling a barbarian. The dwarf a ranger. Halfling an axe, human a pair of daggers and elf used a sword."

He observes the pedestal and touches the stone its made from. Hard and cold, he hoped. Good for bashing heads into.

Lith peers at the tiles and, after staring for a moment, shrugs. "Seems right."

    She waits for Arasmes to finish his inspection of the pedestal, and glances to Plesio for his opinion, before picking up the tiles and placing them into the indentations in the specific order Arasmes indicated;
    Dwarf, Bow, Ranger
    Human, Daggers, Rogue
    Elf, Sword, Fighter
    Halfling, Axe, Barbarian

"If the group succeeds, then so shall I. Probably."
