    That would be an interesting build but wouldn't really fit my concept of who Mills is. I'm actually thinking more along the lines of Cat's Grace, Bull's Strength and so forth, as far as potions he'd like but he doesn't know what to ask for.

    How does hp increase go? Common options:

    - roll
    - roll, re-roll 1s
    - roll, re-roll if below 25% max (re-roll 1s for d6, re-roll 1s and 2s for d8 and d10, 1s 2s and 3s for d12)
    - half max (d6=3, d8=4 etc.)
    - half max +1
    - let players choose from some of the options above, usually roll and half max

    Personally, I like being able to choose between half max and some of the roll options. Average rolls are d6=3.5, d8=4.5, d10=5.5 and d12=6.5, so taking half max makes you lose 0.5 hp on average per level, but at lower levels a bad hp roll hurts a lot. So for a first few levels I prefer taking half max and roll after that.

    For Arasmes, this would mean max hp increases by 4, he learns another cantrip (probably acid splash combined with acid as an alchemical power component so it deals 1d3+1 acid damage), his CL, BAB and will save increase by 1, he can cast an additional 1st level spell per day (for a total of 6 per day) and base spellcraft DC to recognize his spells increases by 1. Sahen's max hp increases by 2 and his poison DC and will save by 1 (reminder to myself).
