Maramil will be headed for one of the trees.
Maramil is going to manuever around, looking for a decent sniping spot.
Sorry, busy week just getting back to work after being off for awhile due to breaking an arm, its been quite exhausting. I've posted now though.
Maramil disappears via a spell of invisibility and maneuvers along the right flank.

"I say we get a better idea of what that is."
Maramil nods and goes along with the plan, placing the gong in belt pouch.

(Maramil will be trailing the last wagon slightly, keeping an eye out for anyone that might accidentally all behind.)
Maramil points out the path that his party took to get to the village and suggests a similar one might be a good way back to Fort Spire.
"Nice to meet ya Pavel, I'm Maramil," Maramil reaches out and shakes Pavel's hand. "Lets step over here and I'll tell you all about things." He steps out of earshot of the elven leaders and runs down...
I concur that a simple scenario is a good idea. Try doing a scenario that is like a reworking of a trope everyone knows. The "take an item here" or "find my lost relative/lover/friend" or "X monster...
"Well a'int that just a cheery way to say goodbye," Maramil says
