- Grew up in an orphanage. In her teens, a series of dreams, visions and transcendental, ecstatic episodes made her take an interest in religion. She felt the call of Lathander and was accepted to serve in a local temple. After her novitiate, she became a nun and was sent to the nearest suitable monastery. Beside strengthening her bond with the god through prayer and various practices of renunciation, she also trained there to become a protector of the people - a healer and a fighter. Still young when sent to take charge of a small temple, she set out to fulfill her duties with a deep sense of her place in the world. Hers is a path of service, guided by faith in divine help, which she expects to receive at the right time, as a reward for her obedience.
- Aubey, Glan and Tia are her childhood friends.

- She was named after the Châtaigner (Fr.) tree; at the orphanage.
- Her essential element is Earth (the element is related to the nutritional properties of the Châtaigne fruits).
- At the monastery she received a second name: Chiamaka.
