- Grew up in an orphanage. Smart, always excited by the discovery of new knowledge, she devoured every book that fell into her hands. By the time she reached her teens, she realized that what was commonly known and accepted was not enough. Her inquisitive nature and seemingly never quenchable learning desire lead her to take the chance and break into a wizard´s study. She was caught, but the old man, sensing her abilities, offered her freedom in exchange for answering a set of questions correctly. All puzzles were new to her, but she managed to solve most of them. From then on, she remained with the wizard as his apprentice. She felt they shared a passion for knowledge and grew attached to him. When a dangerous experiment failed terribly, the wizard lost his life. A permanent decision seems to have been made inside her heart then: to dedicate to the unraveling of mysteries and mastery in the magic arts, at the cost of feelings and more, if need be. She soon left for another wizard´s tower where she was to spend the following years of her life.

- She was named after the Aubépine (Fr.) shrub; at the orphanage.
- Her essential element is Air (the element is related to the medical properties of Aubépine).
